Queue the cranberry sauce! Thanksgiving is sneaking up fast. But don’t worry – you don’t need to spend the holiday in the kitchen… or even baste a turkey. So many amazing DC area restaurants are open to serve you and yours a holiday feast.

Blue Duck Tavern at Park Hyatt Washington, D.C., always presents farm-fresh options to tempt the palate, but on Thursday, November 22, breakfast, brunch, and a three-course holiday meal will all be offered with extra-inviting ambiance. ($135 per person for adults, $55 for children six to twelve, under six complimentary (beverages, tax and gratuity not included)). Guests can also join family and friends in Blue Duck Lounge, which will offer an a la carte dinner menu after 6pm.
The newly re-launched Mirabelle offers a festive four-course tasting menu this Thanksgiving ($95 per person, excluding tax and gratuity). Prepared by Executive Chef Keith Bombaugh, the Thanksgiving menu is offered from 11 am to 5 pm.
Legal Sea Foods is urging dinners to take a step back in time to the first Thanksgiving, when people were said to have dined on shellfish and fish. Several of the restaurant’s locations will offer its full menu for traditionalists as well as a Turkey Dinner with sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, gravy, and cranberry sauce ($24.95 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) and $8.95 for children 12 and under).
